9 units apartment building in Tokyo. By creating intermediary space at windows between interior and exterior, the design tries to overcome and redefine an experience of living in a typical low-rise housing in a highly dense area of Tokyo, where scenery from room and distance among buildings are often not pleasant. From interior, the intermediary space is framed with the window to function as bench, table or shelves depending on its height and configuration in relationship to the space. It has variation in depth which diffuse a sense of distance, therefore an occupant privacy is protected and the comfort is enriched.
