An installation for the “Asian Boby” Exhibition at BTAP, 798 Art Zone in Beijing. The idea for the installation is to uncover the imaginary wall that separates minds and bodies, people and countries. The wall can expand and contract to interact with human bodies, never settle in one fixed form. It consists of a simple metal joint system with structural members that are locally harvested bamboo in the Beijing area. The exhibition was a collaboration among architects and artists working with the local artist community at the 798 Art Zone in Beijing.
北京の７９８芸術区にあるBTAP「アジアンボディ」展でのアートのインストレーション。コンセプトは精神や身体、人や国を隔てる観念上の壁を表現した。この壁は身体とのインタラクションにより拡張また収縮し、明確な形体を持たない。シンプルなジョイント・システムを考案し地元で調達した竹を利用した。様々な建築的利用方法が考えられる。
这是个在北京798艺术区的BTAP（亚洲身体）展上的展览布置。设计概念是隔开精神和身体、人和国家的观念性隔墙的这种表现方法。这个墙根据和身体的的互相作用进行扩张和收缩、并没有明确的形体。考察了简单的接合系统、使用了当地的竹子。考虑了各种各样的建筑的使用方法。
